Low railings are now even lower.
his is the cheap way to renew your front steps as adding bricks to a previous stoop has now embedded the railings. Not only does it look wrong, the 34 inch high railings are now 31 inches - way too low.
Modern railings must be 36 inches high with no more than 4 inches between balusters. The steps now are also too high and are a trip hazard.
