Home Inspection Melville: Improper exhaust can release carbon monoxide

Home Inspection Melville: The installer should be looking for another job

Home Inspection Melville: The exhaust piping is not centered over the exhaust port in the top of the water heater, and could release carbon monoxide gasses.

This is a poor installation practice as there are usually holes that line up with tables on the legs of the exhaust hood, but as you see this is not the case, and must be professionally evaluated and repaired.

So don’t be ridiculous, call Meticulous!
